Getting there

Les Tourettes is located in the Haute Vienne region of Limousin in mid France. Is is easily accessible from the A20 north-south motorway, or by air - Limoges Airport is only 40 kms away.

By Air
From John Lennon Airport, Liverpool, London / Stansted - Ryanair budget flights to Limoges. Estimated journey time is 2 hrs from Liverpool and 1½ hours from London. Car hire from the airport from approximately £120 per week. A straightforward journey of 40 kms to Les Tourettes.

From Southampton Airport - Flybe budget flights to Limoges. Estimated journey time is 1½ hours. Car hire from the airport from approximately £120 per week. A straightforward journey of 40 kms to Les Tourettes.

By Road
From Calais via Peripherique - east around Paris - to Orleans follow A20 towards Limoges. Take exit 23.1 towards Chateauponsac. Good roads but can take 8 hours if the peripherique is full

From Calais via Rouen, Evreux and Chartres - avoids Paris by keeping west - should be quicker, about 6 hours - but some of this is new motorway and the sign-posting is not always very clear

By Rail
From London/Waterloo - EUROSTAR/TGV highspeed train to Poitiers 6 hours. Car hire from £120 per week. If road is busy it will take 2 hours to Les Tourettes.
