The accommodation comprises:

Ground floor:

  • Entrance hall and lobby large enough to cope with coats, boots, shoes and all the bits and bobs that come with a holiday.
  • Large living and dining room area with satellite TV, CD Player, and radio. The interior is elegantly furnished with leather and oak seating and includes a large dining table suitable for at least 8 people. A large fireplace, with logs provided for winter heating.
  • Kitchen with excellent cooking, serving and dining requirements including gas cooker and hob, microwave and a large fridge-freezer with ice making facilities for those hot and sultry summer days and warm nights. Winter warmth is provided by an oil central heating system. A vegetable garden nearby will provide an abundance of free vegetables in season.
  • Utility room in the converted cellars with laundry facilities.

First floor:

Expansive landing leading to:

  • Bedroom 1 – large master bedroom with double bed + 1 single bed if required. An additional folding bed/cot can be provided as required.
  • Bedroom 2 - 1 double bedroom
  • Bedroom 3 - 2 single and bunk beds (to sleep 4)
  • Shower room/WC - double wash basins and free standing shower cabin.

Outside:

  • Sun terrace - facing a westerly direction overlooking the beautiful Limousin countryside.
  • Grounds - A large private garden consists of a stone terrace and lawned areas which are ideal for sunbathing or for those languorous extended luncheons. Part of the gardens is shaded by trees offering shelter from the summer heat. A large wooden picnic table and benches is provided. The flower beds and borders are well maintained. The fields facing the west of the property belong to the house and contain a children's play area.
  • Pool - the south west facing sun kissed terrace pool is surrounded by high ancient stone walls and is completely private. Its perfect for those sultry high summer days and warm evenings. Loungers and poolside furniture are available. A changing room, shower and toilet facilities are in a converted outbuilding facing the pool. Barbeque area with a stone barbeque for wood/charcoal burning is located in the grounds and a gas barbeque is also available for emergencies or for additional cooking.
  • Parking – is convenient and the property has extensive parking areas.
  • Sports - 4 adult bikes and 2 children's bikes are available. An archery range for both longbow and crossbow are set up in the field, as well as an airgun range if required. There are plans to establish a games room (table tennis and darts) in the barn which may be finalised for 2007. A recreation area for young children has a variety of swings including tree swings.

A new boiler provides oil central heating and a large oak log open fire is available in the main living room for cooler wintry periods.
